Major Incidents Reported for January 2, 2012
Aggravated Robbery:

A male attempting to buy a computer off of Craigslist was robbed after meeting with the potential seller. A 27 year old male, found a computer on Craigslist that he wanted to buy. He contacted the potential seller and agreed to meet the seller in a parking lot on Eva Walk around 4:30 Friday evening. When the victim arrived on Eva Walk he was told by the seller to get into the car. Another male then pulled a handgun on the victim and robbed him of $165.00. The victim got out of the car and the suspects fled.

The suspects were three black males, 19 – 22 year old. One suspect was wearing a blue and white shirt. The suspect vehicle was a light blue, Ford Crown Victoria. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact our department.

Occurred 923 Donald Ave, from 12/29-1/2 bet 8:00pm-6:05pm Unk kicked in back door MISSING: unk amt of change in glass jar, (50-60) dvd's, (2) jewelry boxes, Fendi gold watch, silver plate, misc costume jewelry SUSPS: Unk

Major Incidents Reported for January 4, 2012
Aggravated Robbery:

Around 8:30 last night, a manager collecting rent in the 700 block of East Waterloo Road was robbed. The victim reported he was approached by the suspect, who was wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun, and demanded money. The victim handed the suspect a bag containing $5,000.00 in cash. The suspect then demanded the victim’s car keys and cell phone. The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is a black male, 6’01” – 6’02”, 220 lbs., wearing all dark clothing and a dark ski mask and stocking cap. Anyone with information is asked to contact our department.

Felony reports for January 5, 2012
Andrea Marie Brown, 43, 650 Reed Ave., Akron, Ohio was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Robbery and Kidnapping. Andrea and an unk male forced their way into the victim's home and took the victim's purse and other property and then fled the residence.

Felony reports for January 9, 2012
Richard L Greene, 44, 831 Inman St., Akron, Ohio was charged with Domestic Violence. Richard has a prior conviction for domestic violence from 5-10-04 and a prior conviction for domestic violence menacing from 11-30-05

Felony reports for January 10, 2012
Charita M Griffin, 34, 107 Brighton Dr., Akron, Ohio was charged with Uttering Forged Instrument. Charita claimed she received the check in the mail from Los Angeles with instructions to cash it and keep part of the proceeds and to forward the balance to an address supplied in a letter which accompanied the check. She took the forged check in the ammount to $3,019.60 to Money Mart Check at 1400 S Arlington St.
